My day starts by checking my calendar for any meetings and reviewing the regulatory calendar to prioritise
upcoming RFIs and submission deadlines. RFIs are often time-sensitive, so these take priority, followed by any new tasks or outstanding items. Next, I review market updates, especially from providers like Cornwall, to assess any regulatory changes that may require internal review.

My key responsibilities include tracking regulatory changes, collaborating with industry bodies, and preparing responses for regulatory submissions. I also ensure that our compliance framework is up to date and review compliance clauses in legal documents. I attend industry update meetings regularly and will soon be visiting Ofgem’s offices in London. Additionally, I support external audits, including Elexon and ISO audits, by providing evidence and responses.

Collaboration is a big part of my role, so I work closely with many teams within Evolve and serve as a primary point of contact for industry bodies like Ofgem, Retail Energy Code, Elexon, and DESNZ. My go-to tools are various industry standard and in-house developed systems which help me manage my tasks efficiently.
