Scope of the Role
As a Business Administrator, you’ll support the smooth running of the office by providing efficient and effective administration support to the operations department . You’ll receive hands-on training, mentoring, and the chance to work toward a recognised qualification.
Key Working Relationships (Internal): Head of Accounts Services, Head of Industry Operations, Head of People, the role will have integral links working with all departments.
Roles & Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing:
Answering phone calls and directing queries to the right team member
Managing incoming and outgoing emails
Filing, scanning, and organising documents
Data entry into spreadsheets or internal systems
Learning and using tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Supporting the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations
GENERAL
Work collaboratively across Evolve Departments.
Work with relevant colleagues to ensure that the department’s work meets all organisational and legal frameworks, including but not exhaustively health and safety, safeguarding policies, GDPR, licensing and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required
Personal Specification Skills & Experience
What Makes You the Perfect Fit:
Basic computer skills- familiar with using a computer, email, and common software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Communication skills- able to listen, follow instructions, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Teamwork- willing to work with others and contribute to group tasks or shared goals.
Time management- arriving to work on time, follow a schedule, and manage simple tasks within a timeframe.
Problem solving- able to think through simple challenges and ask for help when needed
Proactive in asking questions and taking initiative with guidance.
Confidentiality- understanding the importance of handling business information appropriately.
Bonus Points if You:
Have some experience in customer service, admin or any role involving communication
Enjoy problem solving and finding practical solutions
